ABOUT HUNTERS OF HUBERTUS
"I heard a story, when I was a girl. One of the old ones, telling of an end in blood and teeth; a story in which a wolf swallowed the sun and then the world. An axe-age, a sword-age, an age of covenants broke and shields cloven - an age not even the gods could survive.
It's a long time since I believed in stories, or gods. Blood and teeth, though? It's those that me and mine make our coin off."

Hunters of Hubertus is a steampunk monster hunting game where turn-based strategy meets investigation and interactive fiction. As the leader of the licenced hunting company Beast & Blood Ltd, you have two jobs: to investigate, identify and eliminate the monsters you're contracted to hunt, and to keep your company alive through the experience.

Hunters of Hubertus takes its name from the patron saint of hunters and its inspiration from Norse myth, Slavic folktales and Victorian penny dreadfuls.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Hunters of Hubertus is being developed by a team of aspiring game developers at the Helsinki-based GameDev Lab at Digitalents. Most of the team are game industry students, though some have already worked in the industry.

Our focus with the game is to mesh meaningful narrative with challenging gameplay. Our ambition, targeting the niche genres of turn-based strategy and interactive fiction, is to cater to an audience that larger productions neglect.
